Dr. Upendra Kaul is one of India's most eminent interventional cardiologists and an internationally acclaimed clinician-scientist with over 40 years of distinguished experience in cardiovascular medicine. Renowned for pioneering advanced cardiac interventions in India, he has made landmark contributions to patient care, clinical research, medical education, and healthcare innovation.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Kaul has personally performed 15,000+ coronary angioplasties and complex cardiovascular interventions, making him one of Asia's most experienced interventional cardiologists. His clinical expertise encompasses complex coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, hypertension, transcatheter valve therapies (TAVR), pacemaker and ICD implantation, and advanced intravascular imaging.

A globally recognised leader in cardiovascular research, Dr. Kaul has contributed to more than 100 Phase I–IV international clinical trials as a National Lead Investigator, Steering Committee Member, DSMB Chair, and Global Scientific Advisor.
