This superspeciality department handles vast variety of open and minimally invasive urological work including laproscopic surgeries. The facilities include management of stone diseases, prostate ailments, re-constructive urology, uro-oncology, pediatric urology and andrology.

For management of stone disease, PCNL including bilateral PCNL and ureteroscopy are being done with state of art C-arm image intensifier, lithoclast and endoscopes. Transurethral resection of the prostate which minimizes the operative trauma is one of the common procedures performed. Management of urological cancers is being performed by co-ordinated team of dedicated urologists, radiation oncologists and medical oncologists. Advanced technique like artificial urinary spincter placement for in continent patients is also available.

The equipment available include linear accelerator, brachy-therapy unit, CT scan, MRI and digital ultrasound. In addition, the department takes special interest in management of infertility and erectile sexual dysfunction.

The Department of Urology has three Senior Urologists as Consultants, besides the team of senior residents. One of the best equipped facilities of its kind in the region, the unit offers facility for in patients and takes on referral cases from hospitals in and outside Delhi.
