The Nursing Department of Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre is well known for its Quality Nursing Care. With over 550 skilled nursing staff, under the leadership of Mrs. Krishna Dasgupta, Chief of Nursing Services, with her long 32 years of experience as nurse administrator, with the support of one DNS and 3 ANS, it persistently strives to maintain the quality nursing care with values, compassion and competence.
Specialty units like Gen OT, CTOT, CTVS ICU, ICCU, Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Dialysis and Oncology units are manned with our specially trained nursing staff.
The Nurse Educator conducts the Inservice Education Programme regularly for all the nursing staff of BHMRC with the help of doctors and school faculty to update the nurses with latest knowledge and technology.
A two day Induction Programme is conducted for all newly appointed staff nurses. Pre and Post Induction Test is conducted for the purpose of evaluation. Regular training is conducted for the Nursing Aides regarding personal grooming, punctuality, discipline, assisting nurses and patients in providing quality Nsg. Care etc.
Twenty Nursing Staff, including a Senior Nursing Administrator, are posted in Batra West End Centre, Rajouri Garden, which is a branch of Batra Hospital. |
