Other than the nurses posted round the clock to all wards and critical care areas, they are posted to various OPD’s, general and Cardiac Casualties, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Imaging, Oncology, Health Check up, Free OPD, Blood Bank etc.

Twenty five Nursing Staff, including a Senior Nursing Administrator, are posted to Batra West End Centre, Rajouri Garden, which is a branch of Batra Hospital.

Activities

• The Senior Nursing Administrators visit each and every patient daily to find out the welfare and difficulties of patients if any, and solve them immediately.
• One of the Nursing Administrators regularly checks all documents related to nursing care and does incidental teaching as per the need.
• Every Thursday, regular In-service Education Programme is being conducted for the Nursing Staff by the doctors/College of Nursing Faculties and Nursing Administrators with pre & post class questionnaires.
• The 3 day Orientation Programme conducted for the newly joining nursing staff includes visits to various departments, meeting the HOD’s and lectures from various HOD’s and College of Nursing faculty.
• A Two day Induction Programme for the existing staff is conducted twice a month by the Chief of Nursing Services, Principal & Faculty of College of Nursing and various doctors (HOD’s) with pre & post class questionnaires.
• This includes all Do’s & Dont’s to be followed by each nurse in the hospital.
• Protocols of each and every procedure are provided to each nursing department for easy reference.
• One hundred and sixty Nursing Aides working in various departments are being provided with Do’s & Don’ts of all the work related to patient care.
• Regular classes are being taken for them regarding personal grooming, punctuality, discipline and assisting Nurses & patients in providing quality nursing care.

The Nursing Department played a major role in obtaining ISO certification to this Institute.
